recipe: black-n-blueberry protein punch


  • 1-1/2 cups water
  • 50g protein of protein powder
  • >50g kale
    • as much as will fit in my small cheap blender
  • 30g blackberry
  • 60g blueberry
    • tastier and cheaper, so I use more
  • 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
    • was tired of dealing with thick PB but still wanted some healthy fats…
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
    • ditto above
  • 1/8 tsp pink + sea salt
    • ~500mg; I’m a salty dog
  1. Insert into blender in roughly that order (1/2 cup water first, douse the rest with the rest).
  2. Blend on lowest setting for 20-30 seconds, then highest 20-30s.
  3. Pour into two tupps.
  4. Stick in freezer, take one out and leave on night stand with spoon for a nutrient bomb before even A-RISE’ing outta bed in the morning.
